Israeli security sources said the situation with Iran could deteriorate rapidly, possibly within a matter of hours, but that the current state of heightened tension could also continue for days or longer. As of now, the sources said, there is no concrete intelligence pointing to an Iranian intention to also strike Israel.
A sixth missile-alert siren is now sounding across the United Arab Emirates.
