Hezbollah claimed responsibility tonight for rocket fire at the community of Shtula in the Western Galilee, in what the group described as a response to alleged Israeli violations of the ceasefire and an Israeli strike on the town of Yatar in the Nabatiya district. Sirens sounded in Shtula on the Confrontation Line, and the Home Front Command announced at 23:29 local time that the incident had ended.
The terror organization also warned that if the current ceasefire is not renewed by Sunday, it will resume strikes targeting areas deeper inside Israel. The attack follows an earlier incident in which the IDF said it intercepted a Hezbollah hostile aircraft launched toward Israeli troops operating south of the Forward Defense Line in southern Lebanon.
