El Al is set to launch direct flights between Israel and Argentina later this year, marking the longest route in the airline's history. The announcement was made during a joint appearance by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Argentine President Javier Milei, as part of broader bilateral cooperation agreements that included an aviation deal. Milei said the flights are expected to begin in December.
During the same appearance, Netanyahu said the joint US and Israeli effort against Iran is still ongoing, warning that developments could shift quickly. "Any moment could bring us new developments," he said, adding that it remains unclear what the coming days will bring. He stressed that both countries will achieve their objectives while bringing "more hope more light for the free peoples of the world."
