The IDF says that following a new situational assessment carried out with the Home Front Command, updated defensive guidelines are in effect from Friday, April 17, 2026 at 16:00 through Thursday, April 23, 2026 at 20:00.
Under the new instructions, the entire country has returned to full activity with no restrictions. The only exception applies to areas along the Confrontation Line, where gatherings are limited to up to 1,000 people until Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 20:00. After that time, the restriction will also be lifted.
The Home Front Command continues ongoing assessments, and any further changes to civilian guidelines will be communicated if necessary.
