The IDF announced that Sergeant Major (Res.) Ayal Uriel Bianco was killed in action in southern Lebanon. A reservist was moderately injured and two additional reservists were lightly injured in the same incident. The soldiers were evacuated to a hospital and their families have been notified.
Separately, the IDF said three soldiers were severely injured and a fourth was moderately injured in a close-quarters encounter in southern Lebanon overnight. Six additional soldiers sustained light injuries in the same incident. All were evacuated to a hospital and their families have been notified.
