A 92-year-old Holocaust survivor collapsed in her home in Petach Tikva overnight and was revived

By Sammy,

A 92-year-old Holocaust survivor collapsed in her home in Petach Tikva overnight and was revived after an intense emergency response on Yom HaShoah, in what United Hatzalah described as a remarkable rescue.

Medics carried out CPR for approximately 30 minutes before successfully restoring her pulse. Once her condition was stabilized at the scene, she was transported to Rabin Medical Center - Beilinson Hospital for further care.

One of the responders, Dubi Vidavsky, said, "Today is not only Yom HaShoah, it is also my birthday, and this is the greatest birthday gift I could have asked for. To help restore a heartbeat to a Holocaust survivor we know and deeply respect is a privilege beyond words. This is the true meaning of being a United Hatzalah medic."
