By Sammy,

According to United States Central Command, US forces will begin enforcing a naval blockade on Iran tomorrow, April 13, at 10 a.m. ET, following an order from US President Donald Trump. The command says it "will begin implementing a blockade of all maritime traffic entering and exiting Iranian ports," applying to vessels of all nations operating in Iranian coastal areas, including ports along the Arabian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman.

CENTCOM adds that ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz to or from non-Iranian ports will not be affected, emphasizing that freedom of navigation in those cases will remain unchanged.
