In a video address this evening, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the campaign against Iran is still ongoing, while pointing to what he described as significant achievements. He said Israel acted after receiving intelligence that Iran was nearing nuclear weapon capability and expanding its missile program, including efforts to move projects underground. According to Netanyahu, Israel struck key parts of Iran's nuclear and missile infrastructure, adding, "We hit them, we still have more to do."

He said Israel removed what he described as an existential threat, stating that Iran would already have had a nuclear bomb if Israel had not launched the operation. Netanyahu also claimed Iran's missile production capabilities have been severely damaged and pointed to internal disputes within the Iranian leadership as a sign of growing pressure on the regime. Addressing the nuclear issue, he said enriched material still remains in Iran and warned that "it will either leave through an agreement or by other means." He added that he is working in full coordination with United States President Donald Trump.

At the same time, Netanyahu said Israel continues to act against Iran-backed groups across the region and noted that some countries have approached Israel regarding future arrangements. He reiterated conditions for any potential agreements, including disarming Hezbollah and reaching a lasting deal.

Opposition figures rejected his claims. Democrats Party leader Yair Golan said Netanyahu is under pressure because the war goals were not achieved, arguing that a true victory does not require repeated declarations. Opposition Leader Yair Lapid similarly accused Netanyahu of taking credit for the army's achievements while failing to meet the objectives he set, adding that the public is waiting for leadership capable of delivering clear results.
