Prime Minister Netanyahu said tonight that Iran's enriched uranium "will be removed

By Bernie,

Prime Minister Netanyahu said tonight that Iran's enriched uranium "will be removed, either by agreement or through resumed fighting," in his first address since a two-week ceasefire between the United States and Iran took effect overnight.

Netanyahu said the ceasefire was coordinated with Israel and stressed it is "not the end of the campaign" but "a milestone on the path to achieving all our goals." He said Israel is prepared to resume combat "at any moment" and that "our finger is on the trigger."

Netanyahu said Iran entered ceasefire negotiations "battered and weaker than ever," having dropped its preconditions including demands for sanctions relief, war reparations, a permanent end to the war, and a ceasefire in Lebanon. He said he insisted that Hezbollah be excluded from the ceasefire, and that Israeli strikes against the group are continuing. "Today we dealt Hezbollah the hardest blow it has suffered since the pagers," Netanyahu said, referring to strikes on 100 targets in 10 minutes.

Netanyahu listed what he described as the campaign's achievements: the destruction of Iran's missile production capacity, severe damage to its nuclear program including the elimination of nuclear scientists, the dismantling of IRGC financial and weapons infrastructure, the destruction of the Iranian navy, and the killing of senior regime leadership from Khamenei down through the top ranks of the Revolutionary Guards and Basij.

On the enriched uranium still inside Iran, Netanyahu said senior Trump administration officials confirmed it would all be removed. "It will be removed either by agreement or through resumed fighting. And we see eye to eye on this matter," he said.

Netanyahu thanked President Trump and described the joint operation as "the greatest military operation the Middle East has ever known," adding that such a partnership between Israel and the United States "has never existed in the history of Israel."
