Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that Ziv Agmon will be leaving his position as spokesperson in the coming days, following criticism directed at him, as a transition to his replacement is already in progress.
Ido Norden is set to take over the role and is currently being integrated into the Prime Minister's Office. He already serves there as a senior advisor and brings a background that includes working as chief of staff to the Chief Scientist, holding a senior position within the Innovation Authority, and serving as an economist at the Bank of Israel.
Beyond his professional roles, Norden has also written about what he refers to as a "deep state" in Israel and has previously been among the notable critics of former Chief Military Advocate General Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi.
