Following updated security assessments, Israel is further easing flight restrictions at Ben Gurion Airport, expanding outbound capacity beyond the previous limits.
Starting tonight, airlines will be allowed to sell up to 100 seats on departing flights. Of that total, roughly 30 percent will be reserved for humanitarian and exceptional cases, subject to approval by a designated committee, while aircrew members will not be included in the passenger quota.
The move comes about two weeks after strict limitations were imposed due to the security situation, which had reduced passenger numbers and limited flight activity. This latest adjustment marks a continued shift toward increasing capacity while maintaining oversight and prioritizing urgent travel needs.
