According to the IDF, a wide series of Israeli Air Force strikes across Iran in recent days targeted key components of Iran's military infrastructure, including ballistic missile systems, command centers, and financial networks tied to military activity. During one wave in Tehran, the IAF struck a base belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Ground Forces, described by the army as a central element of the regime's military structure. The IDF also says it has identified Iran shifting command operations into mobile headquarters after earlier sites were hit, and that several of these temporary command posts were struck while senior figures were present. Separately, missile storage facilities in Tabriz were targeted.
The military says a large-scale operation in central and western Iran hit roughly 50 ballistic missile-related targets, with fighter jets dropping more than 140 munitions on launchers and associated infrastructure, preventing additional planned launches toward Israel. Over the past day, Iran fired about 20 ballistic missiles at Israel, with roughly half intercepted and the rest landing in open areas "according to protocol." The IDF adds that some missiles carried cluster warheads, causing minor injuries and damage in central Israel.
In addition, the IDF says it struck multiple headquarters responsible for managing funding for Iran's military and weapons production, including funds distributed to regional armed groups. It states that these financial systems are sustained largely through oil revenue, which it says is used to bypass sanctions and support military buildup. The army confirmed the killing of senior Iranian official Jamshid Eshaghi, identified as overseeing budget and financial affairs linked to these systems, calling his role critical to sustaining military operations.
The IDF also says additional senior figures in Iran's missile forces were killed, including Mukram Azimi, described as a commander responsible for launches from the Kermanshah region, along with other battalion-level commanders involved in missile fire toward Israel. Meanwhile, Iranian media reported a separate strike on a major bridge between Tehran and Karaj, attributing it to U.S. forces; the IDF denied involvement.
