Trump says France refused to allow U.S. aircraft carrying military supplies to Israel to fly over French territory. "France has been VERY UNHELPFUL with respect to the 'Butcher of Iran,' who has been successfully eliminated!" Trump posted on Truth Social. The accusation comes a day after Spain formally closed its entire airspace to U.S. military aircraft involved in the Iran war, extending an earlier ban on the use of the Rota naval base and Moron air base for operations against Iran. Spain's Defense Minister Margarita Robles called the war "profoundly illegal and profoundly unjust." Trump has previously threatened to cut trade with Madrid over its refusal to cooperate. Growing divisions among NATO allies over the conflict are widening, with both Spain and France now accused of blocking U.S. military logistics tied to the campaign.
