The IDF announced that four soldiers were killed in combat in southern Lebanon. Currently, the IDF has only released the names of three of the four soldiers: Captain Noam Madmoni, Staff Sergeant Ben Cohen, and Staff Sergeant Maxsim Entis.
According to an IDF investigation of the event, the soldiers were killed in a close-quarters exchange of fire with Hezbollah terrorists. In addition, when soldiers were evacuating the wounded soldiers, the Hezbollah terrorists launched an anti-tank missile- which did not hit any soldiers or IDF vehicles.
