Clarification on our earlier report: The incident involving a government minister who narrowly avoided Hezbollah anti-tank fire took place during the early days of Operation Roar of the Lion. According to a source in the Magen unit, the Prime Minister's Office's protective detail responsible for government ministers, the minister was walking in exposed areas near the northern border shortly before Hezbollah fired anti-tank missiles at the same location. "We almost lost a minister at the northern border," the source said. Security protocols for political visits to frontline areas have since been tightened, with the unit now refusing to allow politicians to visit certain high-risk locations.
