Residents in communities along the northern border have been instructed to remain near bomb shelters for the time being, as the IDF warns of the potential for continued Hezbollah rocket fire in the coming hours.
In an attack on Kiryat Shmona, two people were wounded, according to medics. MDA says a man in his 50s was seriously injured after being struck in the face by shrapnel. His condition was initially assessed as moderate to serious before being updated, and he is being evacuated by helicopter to Rambam Hospital in Haifa.
Another victim, a man in his 80s, sustained light shrapnel injuries and is being transported by ambulance to Ziv Medical Center.
