A ballistic missile fired by Iran appears to have landed in Lebanese territory, rather than reaching northern Israel, according to military assessments.
It is still unclear whether the missile was intended to strike a target inside Israel or Israeli troops in southern Lebanon and missed its mark. If confirmed, this would mark the first time during the current war that an Iranian ballistic missile has hit Lebanon.
