Following the ballistic missile impact in Arad, the IAF has launched an investigation into why the threat was not successfully intercepted. The missile, believed to have carried a heavy conventional warhead containing hundreds of kilograms of explosives, caused significant destruction and left dozens injured.
At the same time, the Home Front Command is examining the circumstances surrounding the strike. Both the IAF and Home Front Command are also reviewing the earlier impact in nearby Dimona, where dozens more were wounded.
