Posting on X, the IDF says Ibrahim Muhammad Ghazali
By Sammy,
Posting on X, the IDF says Ibrahim Muhammad Ghazali, the brother of the man who carried out last week's truck attack on a Reform synagogue and preschool in Michigan, served as a Hezbollah commander responsible for weapons operations within a specialized branch of the Badr Unit.
The IDF writes that "Hezbollah commander Ibrahim Muhammad Ghazali was responsible for managing weapons operations within a specialized branch of the Badr Unit," adding that the unit "is responsible for launching hundreds of rockets toward Israeli civilians throughout the war." The military also says Ghazali "was eliminated in an IAF strike on a Hezbollah military structure."
His brother, 41 year old Ayman Mohamad Ghazali, carried out the Thursday attack. Separate reports say several of the family's Lebanese relatives were also killed earlier this month during renewed fighting, including two brothers said to be Hezbollah members, as well as a niece and nephew, according to an unnamed official cited by NBC News.
