A man has been seriously wounded in a suspected terror stabbing in Ramat Gan's Rambam Square on Thursday afternoon. The 47-year-old victim was stabbed in the abdomen, chest, and back before the attacker fled the scene. Magen David Adom provided emergency treatment and evacuated him to Ichilov Hospital in Tel Aviv in serious condition. Police have arrested a suspect.
The attack comes amid heightened warnings from Israel's National Security Council about increased threats against Israeli and Jewish targets since the start of Operation Roar of the Lion, with the Shin Bet reporting intensified Iranian intelligence efforts to recruit operatives and carry out attacks.
