The IDF has destroyed more than 250 Iranian drones and hundreds of launchers across Iran, the military announced, as strikes expand from Iran's ballistic missile infrastructure to its drone operations. In one strike, the Israeli Air Force identified an Iranian drone crew arming an aircraft and preparing to launch it toward Israel, destroying the launcher and its operators before the drone could take off.
The IDF says numerous commanders and operatives responsible for drone launches at Israel have been killed in the campaign. The military said it continues to operate around the clock targeting both ballistic missile and drone infrastructure in western Iran to reduce the volume of fire reaching Israeli territory. The expanded focus on Iran's drone capabilities follows the sustained use of Iranian UAVs against Israel and Gulf states throughout the conflict.
