The IDF says a joint review by the Home Front Command and the Israeli Air Force has been completed following recent rocket impacts in central Israel that occurred without alert activation. MG Shay Kleper, commander of the Home Front Command, said, "Earlier today, we completed a joint review with the Israeli Air Force, derived the relevant lessons, and implemented the necessary adjustments."
Most of the rockets launched from Lebanon on Monday were intercepted. Two rockets were not successfully intercepted, striking separate areas in central Israel and lightly injuring several civilians. Authorities emphasized that "this incident does not constitute a new threat."
Following the investigation, the relevant authorities implemented measures to strengthen interception capabilities against similar threats in the northern arena. The Israeli Air Force has previously intercepted comparable threats, and the adjustments aim to enhance readiness for future incidents.
