The Israeli Air Force has struck Iran's space and satellite command headquarters in Tehran

The Israeli Air Force has struck Iran's space and satellite command headquarters in Tehran, the IDF announced, destroying the facility that operated the "Khiam" surveillance satellite. The satellite, launched in August 2022, was used by the IRGC to advance operations against Israel and monitor countries across the region. The strike eliminated the control, operations, and research center of Iran's space organization.
The IDF says it completed several additional waves of strikes across Tehran, targeting dozens of regime infrastructure sites. These included approximately 50 ammunition bunkers at an internal security forces base, a Basij unit base, internal security force headquarters, and an IRGC ground forces compound.
The military described these strikes as part of a deepening campaign against the core systems and foundations of the Iranian regime, specifically targeting the internal security and Basij forces that the IDF says have led years of operations suppressing Iran's civilian population through systematic violence.
