Israel's National Security Council has issued an urgent global warning to Israelis abroad

By Bernie,

Israel's National Security Council has issued an urgent global warning to Israelis abroad, citing a surge in Iranian-directed threats and terrorist activity against Israeli and Jewish targets worldwide since the start of Operation Roar of the Lion. The council disclosed that several attempted attacks against Israelis have been thwarted in recent days.

The NSC highlighted two recent incidents: a lone attacker opened fire in an entertainment district in Austin, Texas on March 1 following the start of U.S. strikes on Iran, and shots were fired at Jewish targets in Toronto on March 3, with the perpetrator still at large.

Israelis overseas are instructed to avoid transit flights through the UAE until further notice, conceal Jewish and Israeli identifiers in public, and avoid visiting synagogues, Chabad houses, and other sites identified as Jewish or Israeli. The council urged Israelis not to share real-time location information on social media, including hotel details, travel plans, or visits to entertainment venues.

The NSC emphasized particular concern for Israelis in countries bordering Iran, the Gulf region, and destinations with existing travel alerts, warning that Iranian kinetic attacks are now occurring across multiple countries in the region.
