Iran has activated a pre-existing emergency plan to manage the country under prolonged war conditions, Fars News Agency reports. The plan details the supply of essential goods and public needs while redirecting resources toward domestic production and industry. All executive bodies have received the plan's directives, with President Pezeshkian granting authority at all levels for its implementation.
Two economists involved in drafting the plan told Fars it "takes into account all the needs of the public under pressure and in a way that will help manage the country." Ali Larijani, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, stated separately that "Iran, unlike the United States, has prepared for a long war."
