Two IDF soldiers were moderately injured by anti-tank fire while operating in southern Lebanon on Wednesday, the military confirmed. Both were evacuated to a hospital for treatment and their families have been notified.
The IDF says it has established forward defensive positions in southern Lebanon in recent days to create an additional security layer against threats to northern Israeli residents. The military stated that Hezbollah chose to attack Israel on behalf of the Iranian regime and will bear the consequences of its actions.
