Cyprus has detected a suspicious object near Lebanese airspace, prompting an emergency National Security Council meeting. Greek F-16s, recently deployed to the island, have taken off to intercept. This follows multiple Iranian drone attacks on RAF Akrotiri and the deployment of French and Greek air defense assets to Cyprus in recent days.
