El Al has received authorization to operate flights to Israel and is working to resume its flight schedule, subject to approval from security agencies. The airline is notifying stranded passengers that they will be assigned to recovery flights based on their original scheduled departure date. El Al notes that the resumption of operations remains subject to changes beyond the airline's control. This follows earlier reports that Israeli airspace is expected to reopen for inbound rescue flights in the early hours between Wednesday and Thursday.
