Israeli police detained two CNN Turk journalists during a live broadcast in Tel Aviv on suspicion
By Bernie,
Israeli police detained two CNN Turk journalists during a live broadcast in Tel Aviv on suspicion of documenting a security facility. Police say they received a report of two individuals carrying cameras and broadcasting in real time to a foreign media outlet. Officers arrived on scene and ordered them to stop filming. The individuals identified themselves as journalists but presented press credentials that were found to be expired. Both were transferred for further questioning. The detention occurred as they were filming missile interceptions near an IDF base, in violation of Israeli military censor guidelines that prohibit live documentation of interceptions and defense systems.
