The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs announces the closure of its embassy in Tehran and the withdrawal of its ambassador and all diplomatic staff from Iran. The ministry condemns what it describes as Iranian missile attacks that targeted UAE territory, including residential areas, airports, ports, and service facilities, endangering civilians in what it calls a dangerous and irresponsible escalation. The ministry states the attacks constitute a violation of national sovereignty, international law, and the United Nations Charter.

The Foreign Ministry says the decision reflects the UAE's firm rejection of any aggression against its security and sovereignty, warning that Iran's continued approach undermines prospects for de-escalation and threatens regional and international security, energy security, and global economic stability.
