Over the past few hours, Iran attacked two different oil tankers in the Straits of Hormuz. The crews of the ships were successfully evacuated, without any fatalities.
Yesterday, Iran had sent messages to tankers in the region stating they are closimg the Straits of Hormuz. At the same time, a number of shipping companies have halted all oil transports through Hormuz.
