Following directives from the Home Front Command and security authorities, public transportation in Israel has shifted to an emergency schedule this evening, February 28, 2026.
Bus Operations
Buses will run in a limited capacity nationwide. All "Al HaKav" service centers are closed, and real-time schedules on apps or websites may be unreliable. Passengers should contact individual bus operators or the \National Public Transport Service Center at 8787 for information.
Light Rail and Haifa Cable Car
Starting this evening, the Jerusalem Light Rail (Cfir), Gush Dan Light Rail (Dankal), and Haifa Cable Car (Rakavlit) will not operate. Assistance is available via \Tevel Metro (Dankal) at 9943 or \Cfir Jerusalem at 2779.
