El Al has announced it is gearing up to repatriate Israelis currently stranded abroad

El Al has announced it is gearing up to repatriate Israelis currently stranded abroad. The airline says once air traffic resumes and rescue flights are approved, holders of existing El Al tickets will be given top priority for these operations.
To ensure this, ticket sales have been paused until March 21-or until all current ticket holders are accommodated-so that those affected by the escalation can be served first. Customers will be automatically assigned to flights and notified directly once schedules are confirmed, and El Al requests that travelers avoid booking alternative destinations in the meantime.
Currently, all El Al flights remain grounded at least through tomorrow due to Israel's closed airspace. Passengers whose trips are cancelled because of the security situation are eligible for either a refund or a travel voucher.
