Israeli officials assess that the commander of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Gen. Mohammad Pakpour, was likely killed in this morning's strikes. The officials further assess that Iran's minister of defense and chief of intelligence were also likely killed. These assessments have not been confirmed by Iran or by the IDF.
Israeli forces targeted several senior Iranian regime and military figures during the strikes, including Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and President Masoud Pezeshkian. The results of strikes on those specific targets remain unclear at this stage.
