Israel has officially named the ongoing operation "Roar of the Lion." The initial wave of strikes is targeting Iranian missile launchers, both above and below ground, that were prepared to fire. The strikes are aimed at neutralizing Iran's planned missile retaliation capacity, with multiple sites linked to Iran's missile program being hit.
Channel 12 reports that strikes are now expanding to additional areas across Iran, with new hits reported in the western provinces of Ilam, Kermanshah, and Lorestan. Both U.S. and Israeli forces are conducting the strikes.
