Breaking: The U.S
By Bernie,
Breaking: The U.S. State Department has announced it has authorized the departure of non-emergency government personnel and family members from Israel due to safety risks. "Persons may wish to consider leaving Israel while commercial flights are available," the advisory states.
The move signals Washington is preparing for a potential escalation that could directly affect Israel. It follows a similar order earlier this week for the U.S. Embassy in Beirut.
The embassy warned that additional restrictions may be imposed on U.S. government employees with little to no notice. The security situation in Israel, including Tel Aviv and Jerusalem, is described as "unpredictable."
The advisory maintains a "Reconsider Travel" warning for Israel and the West Bank due to terrorism and civil unrest, and a "Do Not Travel" warning for Gaza and areas within 4 kilometers of the Lebanese and Syrian borders.
