Six additional U.S. F-22 stealth fighters are set to deploy to Israel, bringing the total to 18 aircraft.
The fighter jets are being supported by U.S. military transport, refueling, and passenger aircraft that arrived at the southern Israeli air base over the past 24 hours. The flights delivered technicians, maintenance crews, and operations personnel.
Israeli Air Force Commander Maj. Gen. Tomer Bar visited the base today and met with the American pilots.
