In recent hours, Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India landed in Israel for meetings with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu regarding Indian-Israeli ties.
The talks, held at Ben Gurion Airport following an official welcoming ceremony, were described as productive. Netanyahu referred to Modi as "a great friend," adding that theirs is "a bond, a true friendship."
Modi expressed his enthusiasm for the discussions, stating his "gratitude for a warm welcome back to Israel," marking his first visit in nine years. The talks included discussions on technology, water management, agriculture, and various other sectors in which the two countries can further expand cooperation.
Within the next few hours, Modi is expected to address members of the Knesset during a special session held in his honor, the first time an Indian prime minister has done so.
