Germany has warned its citizens in Israel and Lebanon to prepare for a potential escalation amid tensions with Iran, the German Foreign Ministry announced.
The German Embassy in Tel Aviv advised Germans in Israel to prepare to remain at their location for an extended period in case the airspace is closed due to Iranian attacks. "In the event of airspace closure, support options from the embassy and the Foreign Ministry are very limited," the embassy said.
Germans in Israel were advised to stock up on supplies, familiarize themselves with shelter locations, and install a rocket warning app on their phones.
The German Embassy in Beirut issued similar warnings, noting that flight restrictions could occur at any time if the situation escalates. Germans in Lebanon were advised to stock up on food, water, and fuel.
