Israel has been holding closed-door discussions on home front defense in recent weeks as it prepares for a possible confrontation with Iran, Rotter News reported. The frequency of these discussions has increased in recent days.
The ministerial committee on home front defense recently convened, but nothing regarding Iran preparedness was made public. The official statement referenced only earthquake readiness.

A stark figure emerged: 34% of Israel's population lacks adequate protection, with no access to safe rooms or building shelters. Home Front Command is developing models to provide real-time solutions for vulnerable populations and areas with insufficient coverage.

The current siren and shelter protocol, which requires residents to remain in protected spaces until officially released, is expected to remain unchanged.
