U.S. F-22 stealth fighter jets have landed at an Israeli Air Force base in southern Israel, a U.S. Central Command official confirmed to Kan News.
Twelve F-22s departed from Royal Air Force Lakenheath in England earlier today, though one reportedly returned due to a technical issue. The deployment is part of Washington's military buildup in the Middle East amid tensions with Iran.
The F-22 Raptor is considered oen of the most advanced fighter jet in the world. This marks the first known deployment of U.S. F-22s to Israel.
