Israel will be represented at this year's Eurovision Song Contest by a song called Michelle, which Kan says will be released in full next Thursday. Singer Noam Bettan shared a short video about the track, saying "I can tell you that \[the song\] is incredible, but aside from that, I can't tell you anything." He also admitted that even the name of the song "surprised me."

Kan revealed that Michelle will be sung in English, Hebrew and French. The song was written by Yuval Raphael, a survivor of the Nova festival attack who performed for Israel at last year's contest, together with Nadav Aharoni and Tslil Klifi. According to Kan, the track has a different sound and rhythm from Israel's last two entries, which leaned heavily on ballads.
