Follow up to our last post on Netanyahus unusual speach in the Knesset: Netanyahu also issued a direct warning to Iran: "I made clear to the Ayatollah regime that if they make the gravest mistake in their history and attack Israel, we will respond with a force they cannot imagine."
Referencing the upcoming Purim holiday, he added: "In those days as in this time, we must close ranks. I trust our commanders, I trust our soldiers, I trust our people."
Netanyahu, who typically delivers theatrical speeches on these occasions, was notably brief, sharp, and somber before stepping down from the podium.
