Senator Lindsey Graham urged President Trump to ignore advisers counseling against military action on Iran

Senator Lindsey Graham urged President Trump to ignore advisers counseling against military action on Iran, telling Axios that "voices who counsel against getting entangled seem to ignore the consequences of letting evil go unchecked."
Graham, who visited Israel, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia earlier this week, said there is an opportunity "to bring about historic change" in Iran. "But it's increasingly clear to me that voices opposing entanglement and the risk associated with decisive action are getting louder," he said.
Top Trump advisers told Axios the president still has not made a final decision, even as two aircraft carriers and hundreds of warplanes prepare for a potential major operation. Trump has been presented with military options that include killing Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and his son.
Some advisers are urging Trump to hold off on strikes and continue leveraging the military threat to extract concessions. Others have doubts about launching a regime change operation.
A senior official told Axios the U.S. would consider an Iranian proposal that includes some "token" uranium enrichment if it ensures there is no path to a bomb.
