MASA Israel Journey told BNN it has not suspended operations or instructed programs to close amid the current tensions, though a recent activity planned in the Safed area was postponed due to the long journey and limited access to protected spaces.
"Masa Israel Journey has never suspended its operations, not during wars and not during global pandemics, and at this time we are not closing programs or encouraging closures," the organization said. "However, if participants choose to leave voluntarily, we of course respect and support their decision."
MASA said its security officer works closely with the Home Front Command, Israel Police, and Ministry of Defense. As of now, official guidelines for residents have not changed and no areas are restricted or require evacuation.
The organization said it is reinforcing safety protocols, including ensuring all participants have quick access to protected spaces and are aware of safety guidelines.
