American students participating in an Israeli-American exchange program who were scheduled to return to the United States on Saturday have had their flights expedited. The U.S. Embassy in Israel and the State Department intervened to arrange their return today.
Separately, MASA Israel and security officials have blocked program participants from traveling to northern Israel.
