The U.S. military buildup in the Middle East has reached its peak, with forces positioned to deliver a broad strike aimed at destabilizing Iran and achieving a rapid decision, N12 reported.
The concentration of forces includes two aircraft carriers led by the USS Gerald R. Ford, approximately 20 warships and submarines, around 200 attack aircraft, and 100 support and intelligence aircraft. F-22 and F-16 fighters have arrived or are staged in Europe, joined by E-3 airborne control aircraft and U-2 reconnaissance planes.
The guiding strategy is the "Shock and Awe" doctrine, intended to deliver an overwhelming blow and avoid prolonged fighting. Forces are at peak readiness so that once the order is given, the strike will be extensive and powerful.
The Pentagon has deployed THAAD and Patriot air defense systems at approximately 20 bases across Jordan, Kuwait, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar. U.S. forces have also been positioned at strategic points on the Iran-Turkmenistan border and in Armenia, creating a military encirclement around the Islamic Republic.
Israel is carrying out extensive preparatory measures in close coordination with the U.S., with the defense establishment ready for a range of defensive and offensive scenarios. Visible forces in the field have raised public tension. Despite this, Home Front Command said there is no change to civilian guidelines but the public will be updated immediately if required.
