Netanyahu described relations with India as a "tremendous alliance" and said the leaders would discuss expanded cooperation. He emphasized India's global stature, noting its population of 1.5 billion, and said Israel is "enormously popular" there. Modi first visited Israel in 2017, with Netanyahu traveling to India the following year, while a planned return trip by Netanyahu in recent months has faced repeated delays.
