The second round of U.S.-Iran talks in Geneva has concluded after approximately three hours.
Iran floated several proposals during the negotiations, according to the Wall Street Journal: a three-year pause on uranium enrichment, sending some enriched uranium abroad possibly to Russia, and future U.S.-Iran business deals if sanctions are lifted. However, Tehran refused to fully dismantle its nuclear program.
The U.S. is seeking a complete halt to enrichment along with limits on Iran's missile program. Iran wants major sanctions relief, including access to frozen oil funds. The U.S. has not articulated a specific sanctions reduction offer.
Reuters reported that Iran's Supreme Leader rejected all U.S. conditions.
