Open-source flight tracking data shows significant U.S. aircraft movements at Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan, with 12 F-15E Strike Eagles recently replaced by 12 F-35A stealth fighters. The base is expected to host 24 F-15E Strike Eagles, 30 F-35A fighters, 6 EA-18G Growler electronic warfare aircraft, and 12 A-10C ground attack aircraft within hours.
Additional U.S. and allied aircraft are positioned across the region, according to tracking data compiled by the Military Air Tracking Alliance. Assets include F-16C jets at Prince Sultan Airbase in Saudi Arabia, Eurofighter Typhoons at Al-Udeid Airbase in Qatar and RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus, and F-35B Lightning II aircraft at Akrotiri. RAF Lakenheath in the UK has 54 F-35A and 35 F-15E jets available, while RAF Marham has 25 F-35B aircraft.
